Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) sets out the rules for using SyncBricks's automation, integration and managed services (the “Services”). It applies to all customers and authorised users and forms part of our Terms of Service.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Services to:

• --Break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others
• --Access, connect or process data you are not authorised to access, including connecting an accounting company file without the necessary authority
• --Upload or transmit malware, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data
• --Interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the Services or connected platforms
• --Circumvent authentication, rate limits, access controls or usage restrictions
• --Reverse engineer, resell or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted in writing
• --Use the Services to send unsolicited communications or to store or process unlawful content

Customer Responsibilities

• --Ensure that only authorised administrators connect company files and approve the permissions granted to the integration
• --Keep account credentials and multi-factor authentication devices secure, and manage user access appropriately
• --Review suggested accounting entries before approval, recognising that the connected accounting platform remains the system of record
• --Ensure you have the right to provide any data submitted to the Services and to authorise its processing

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches of this Policy and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating access, removing offending content and reporting activity to relevant authorities where required by law. Where practical, we will provide notice before taking action, except where urgent action is needed to protect the Services, other customers or third parties.
